The toy library carries a range of resources that could support families who find it difficult to access specialist toys or want to try out new things at home with their children.

Children who have an additional support need do not necessarily need specialist toys, however there is a range of resources from a variety of manufacturers that are intended to develop specific skills such as multi-sensory equipment for the visually impaired or switch adapted toys.

Play Plus have purchased some of these types of resources and a number of groups and families borrow them on a regular basis.

We are keen to develop our relationships further with organisations working with children and families with additional support needs and welcome any suggestions of new toys and equipment.
